FAQ's

Q: Are you living in your new house yet?
A: Yes! After 2 years of praying, then 1.5 years of working to pay for the house, followed by 1.5 years of renovation, we are finally living here!

Q: What is the significance of the house [3526 Cloudland Drive]?
A:   It is the house that Jennifer's grandparents built in the 1960s and lived in for most of the rest of their lives.  We see a lot of potential for the space and have lots of ideas for how it could be used for life and ministry.  We believe that God wants to redeem the space for His glory!

Q: What is the significance of Clarkston, GA?
A: Well, you can get a pretty good answer by watching the video on "The Vision" page, but here are a few things to ponder:
  • the idea to move there came from God
  • God's calling on Josh's life is to bring nations together....and Clarkston is one of the most diverse towns in America
  • Proskuneo has committed to focus ministry in Clarkston and has recently opened a School of the Arts in Clarkston
  •  Jennifer's family has lived in Clarkston since the 1960's

Q: What is still left to be done to the house?
A: In the living space, most everything is finished, with the exception of some floor transitions, and trim painting. Once that is complete, we will have finished Phase 1! :)

Phase 2 is:
  • The basement - We plan to have a large office space in the basement where Josh can work in uninterrupted  peace and quiet (at least in comparison to his current office in our bedroom!).  We also plan to have a recording room with a sound-proof booth in it.  There will also be a guest room and a bathroom that we hope to use often for short-term or long-term guests. Right now the basement has been gutted. The water intrusion problems have been resolved. And, most of the water damage has been removed.
